WHERE I CAME FROM
When I was younger, I was always given the tricky horses, the misunderstood or “broken horses”. I was given the horses that people had given up on, because thats all I had available to me. Ultimately, I wanted to be an event rider, but these horses had a lot to teach me first. They taught me how to connect to a horse, to hear them and see their individuality. Learning how to truly connect to a horse is how I believe you can get the best out of them and no matter their shape, size or personality how to form a partnership that I could take anywhere.
This experience has taken me on a 20 year journey working with 1000’s of horses across the world, learning from great masters, to develop a system that I use with every horse I work with. Whether it’s young horse at the beginning of their journey or an athlete at the top of their career. If you can connect to your horse in a way that makes them feel seen and gives them the space to communicate with you it can take you through any problem and get you to any destination.
Now with my partner Matt, from our home in Oxfordshire, we are passionate about finding ways to help you develop a a solid foundation and create a deeper more truthful connection to take you as far as you want to go.
OUR ALL-ROUNDER PROGRAMME
It was eventing that made me realised I needed a true “all-rounder”. I need my horse to be expressive and calm in the dressage arena, understand the technicalities of show jumping and be bold and forward thinking on a cross country course.
But you don’t need to be an Eventer to profit from a confident, quick thinking connected partner. If you want your horse to have a strong, able athletic body, and understand what they are doing and wants to do it – then my course can help you!
I want to be able to train in a way that puts connection first and uses our relationship to build confidence and a desire to do whatever is in front of us together. I want a partner.
My all rounder programme is built on 20 years of experience training, starting and restarting thousands of horses. It has helped world class competitors and Olympians win more consistently. It has helped people solve problems that they felt they could not over come. Most importantly, it has developed relationships that have been fundamental to people enjoying there horses in the way they have always dreamed.
The programme is split in to different stages and each stage contains several modules:
