“I cannot thank you enough. Having been to a number of good trainers and vets I really felt there was no hope. Just having someone who agreed with me made me feel like I wasn’t alone. Taking it to the veterinary team who really listen to you, and then work together to fix it is revolutionary. The transformation is almost unbelievable – not only do I have my horse back, our relationship is on a whole new level. I’m just sad it took. me this long to find you!”

Re-starting, Problem solving or trauma
Often a horse has a particular problem or experience to overcome, where a consistent, professional hand is needed to help them move through an issue. We have experience dealing with many issues seen as “unfixable” and can offer a programme tailored to your horses needs. Beyond this we create a series of strategies for you both after the stay with us.
We work with a range of behavioural and training issues and are very experienced at dealing with extreme behavioural issues, rehabilitation from medical intervention and pain memory.
Each horse will move through the steps of the programme at different speeds, sometimes it is necessary for the stay to be longer depending on the issue.
We structure our programme in to four stages
UNPICK
Here we working with the horse to peel back any layers of negative experience or behaviour.
Reassure
Once we have worked through the defence / behavioural issue we are often left with a vulnerable horse who needs help to find new strategies, or has a physical reason for the behaviour, revealed through removing of the guarding / defensive behaviour
Rebuild
We work with the horse to physically Strengthen, Mentally Prepare and Emotionally Equp them for returning to the world.
Reconnect
For both the horse and the rider, work needs to be done to let go of any association with the past experience and move forwards together.
HOLIDAY COVER
For horses who need a specific work programme, or need to maintain their training whilst you are away or unable to be with them, we offer short term training liveries. A bespoke programme for as long as you and your horse need.
